Part of the fun of any vacation – for me – has always been taking photos. I call myself a very amateur photographer. But in the past, I’ve traveled either solo or with my kids and our slow pace allowed me to capture any images I wanted to along the way.
Now I’m traveling with a 3 year old.
Which makes me an slightly frazzled and hurried amateur photographer. Who has traded her camera bag and gear for a smartphone. It definitely made our Disney vacation easier and allowed more chasing and holding of the small one.

So how did I capture all the great shots? I let the park photographers do the job and was given the Memory Maker (formerly PhotoPass) to try on our trip. For $149 (purchased in advance) a family can be assured some quality photos in front of the most iconic scenes.
Like Epcot or Cinderella’s Castle
Or visiting our favorite characters.
Make sure you ask each photographer what magic shots they have – they often have different ones, and they add that special magic to your photos. And from someone who loves her Photoshop, this is priceless!
