Are you searching for an easy keto muffin recipe? Living the keto lifestyle means that you start missing those beloved bread you’ve grown so accustomed to eating your entire life. While you still can’t eat your regular bread options on keto, you can indulge your sense in these cinnamon spice keto muffins.

After day 2 of living the keto life, I was on Pinterest trying to find some sort of replacement for my bread cravings. That’s when I found some recipes for cookies, bagels, and muffins. I realized that there is a substitute for my bread cravings on keto and I was on a mission to make the best cinnamon spice keto muffins ever.

This recipe is simple to make and it allows you to have muffins on hand to serve family whenever they come to visit!

What can you eat for breakfast on the keto diet?

You can eat a lot of things for breakfast on the keto diet. While many people opt for a good ole plat of bacon and eggs, you can enjoy my cinnamon spice keto muffins for a quick breakfast option. Try to add nutmeg to the cinnamon to give your muffins a fall flavor or perhaps use a lemon rosemary blend to make a little fancy breakfast on the keto diet.

There are other options for breakfast on the keto diet like eggs and vegetables fried in coconut oil or cream cheese pancakes. I could go on forever about all of the delicious keto breakfast recipes I enjoy, but today I’m focused on selling you these cinnamon muffins for keto breakfast.

Does almond flour have carbs?

This keto breakfast idea or keto snack idea calls for almond flour. Many have asked me if almond flour has carbs. Almond flour does have carbs but it’s one of the most popular low carb flour options out there.

One serving size of almond flour, which is approximately ¼ cup has just 6 net carbs, making it one of the lower carb options to create your favorite keto recipes that call for flour.

Can I eat muffins on keto?

I started off telling you that I was searching Pinterest for keto bread ideas when I found some excellent keto muffin recipes. You can eat muffins on keto but you must make them differently than regular muffins. These cinnamon spice keto muffins include keto-friendly recipe ingredients so that you can get a flavorful muffin with a similar texture of regular everyday muffins you grew up eating.

Being able to eat muffins on keto using my keto-friendly muffins recipe has really helped me enjoy my keto lifestyle even more than I did on day 2 when I wondered if I would ever be able to enjoy some of my favorite bread items again.

These cinnamon spice muffins taste great. The texture is so light, they could substitute as cupcakes with a keto-friendly frosting. These might become our Birthday Cupcake go to!

The texture resembles bread. Not too eggy (which can be a problem with some keto breads) and that makes them very satisfying for a low-carb treat. These are on par with my favorite Keto Donuts (check them out!)

If you’re like me, you’re looking for easy recipes that work. I want recipes that include ingredients I always have on hand. I want healthy low carb recipes and I want to stay within my carb limit.

These easy cinnamon keto muffins work out to about 1 net carb. But put your specific brands into your Keto app and see what the carb count is per muffin.

What spices can you use on keto?

I did mention that you can switch out the cinnamon and make your own herb muffins using other favorite flavors like lemon and rosemary essential oils. This means that yes you can enjoy spices on keto.

Some of the lowest-carb options for spices on keto include cinnamon, thyme, basil, mint, and ginger. You can also enjoy some of your other favorite spices on keto but be sure to check the carb count using your keto app. Some spice options are higher in carbs than other spices.
