Big Mac Lettuce Wraps – Keto / Low Carb

Sharing is caring!

Big Macs are not completely taboo on a low carb diet. Just leave off the bun, make a few substitutes, and you have a healthier option than the arches provide. These big mac lettuce wraps will have you singing the jingle! You know THAT jingle – are you singing it yet?

If you’ve followed this blog, you know that my Big Mac Salad is one of the most popular posts – ever! This recipe is a take on that – made a little different, but the same great flavor. So much like the actual Big Mac that I could eat it every day. Just like (in my pre-low carb days I could eat a Big Mac every day – whaaaa???).

What’s In A Big Mac Lettuce Wrap

Lettuce, beef, a little tomato and cauli rice.

I’ve used Romaine lettuce here, but you can use whatever lettuce you like as long as it is big enough to double as a food boat. I’m not sure how else to describe it, but you know what I mean. Or if you have some low carb tortillas, you can certainly use those. There’s just something so refreshing to me about a lettuce wrap that I’ll choose them over tortillas most days!

How Do You Make a Big Mac Lettuce Wrap?

You’re singing it – I can hear you! – “two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun”. I subbed a few things – I added some chopped tomato and cauliflower rice. I didn’t add much onion b/c I’m not a huge fan and my special sauce is Walden Farms Thousand Island.

Sorry, I was out of sesame seeds – but I’d totally add them if I had them.

Can’t make them now?
