Are you looking for a new way to enjoy steak but aren’t quite sure where to start? These keto air fryer butter steak bites are cooked to perfection. And they are so easy to make – they’ll become a go to dish in your house.

cubed raw beef

For this recipe, I’ve marinated bite-size pieces of steak in melted butter and my favorite steak marinade. Butter and steak you ask? They were meant to be together. You can use any marinade you want, just check the nutritional info to make sure it works with your low carb / keto diet.

Cooking steak in an Airfryer

So easy! Follow my instructions below and your steak bites are cooked to perfection and full of flavor. You can cook your steak for approximately 5-7 minutes while turning the bites halfway through if you like medium. Adjust the time to cook your steak bites from there based on your preferred level for steak (and also based on your type of air fryer)

If you have the basket style air fryer, it works fine, but I used my Cuisinart air fryer to make these. If you use an air fryer with food presets, the preset for cooking steaks is too much for this recipe since the bites are small. They’d far too long and you’ll lose the tenderness of your steak. Sometimes it’s best to check as they cook. (who doesn’t love a taste test!)

Is eating steak good for you?

If you’re concerned about any foods, check with your doctor. Not the Internet :) For many, eating steak can be good for you and good on the keto diet. Serve it in salads for lunch, pop a few for breakfast – I’m not judging!

I highly doubt that you’ll have any leftovers when you serve this, but just in case, here are simple instructions for storing the leftovers.

Don’t they look AMAZING!!!???

Let your air fryer steak bites cool down completely and then place in an airtight container in your fridge. It’s best to eat your leftover butter steak bites within a few days. To reheat your steak bites, simply get your Cuisinart air fryer out and heat them until warm enough to
enjoy again. I’d avoid the microwave to heat up as it may overcook the steak.

What can you serve with steak?

There are so many things that pair well with steak bites. I really enjoy a green salad or a favorite vegetable (my favorite is a side of roasted asparagus) with my steak bites. Regardless of what you choose to serve, the truth is that this will make a yummy main course meal for anyone in the family.

Here are some keto veggie recipes you will love:

Since an air fryer doesn’t use oil there is less of a mess to clean up inside your air fryer when compared to a deep fryer. While your air fryer isn’t as messy, it should still be rinsed with soap and water after every use.

What steak can you use in an air fryer?

What steak can you use? Cubed steak is great in this recipe, but use any cut you want. Sirloin and filets cook great and their flavor is to die for! Use your favorite steak cut and let me know which ones work best for you!
