I saw some amazing women this past weekend at Type A Conference. Some I admire and learn from every day on the web. Seeing them in person is like the kid in the candy store analogy. You would eat them up until you could eat no more and leave with a sugar high.
[ Some may leave you with a tummy ache but this is a positive upbeat post in other words I’m not naming names :) ]
They all leave you with a call to action in your mind. A need to do, to create, to perform.
Big Busy Verbs…
Interactions lead to speculations and realizations about people and there might be a few times you….
…. well you verbitize their names.
Boy, spell check doesn’t like that word…hmmm. It’s the act of making a noun into an action, in this case a name. I have no idea if I made the word up or if it’s real. I’ll Google it later.
If I were telling a story about nothing you might say I “Seinfelded” that one. Right?
Bloggers have such strong and unique personalities and talents that it’s easy to verbitize anyone.
If you reply to a pitch for high res images of a celebrity holding a Gatorade, you might “Bloggess” that pitch by sending them to Wil Wheaton Collating.
If you really knocked that video you made out of the ballpark or created an iMovie masterpiece you just might have “ExtraordinaryMommied” it.
Did you organize your entire house, business, and all your kids activities? Then undoubtedly you “GoMommed” it. I’m not sure I’ll ever “GoMom” anything anywhere anytime. OY…
If you took some killer photos, then you definitely “Janasized” the camera. You could also “Janasize” any flashmob, home cooking or hip hop routine. It’s one of these verbs that translates differently in many languages…
So what will it mean to be “Linnied”?
I think I know. You might want to keep posted. Something really cool is being announced this week that will LINNEY MANY OF YOU…
OK so verbitize your favorite blogger! Have any ideas? Would love to see what you come up with!
