Are you ready for some…. appetizers? I know I am. The only thing better than the food is of course the commercials on Game Day… but then I’m not much of a sports fanatic. I am however a mother of teens. I know, hold me.
If you have these bottomless food pits at your house for the Super Bowl, I recommend having a LOT of food – and food that saves well for lunch, dinner and dare I say breakfast the next day. I’ve had the teens at the house for the past few years, so food is critical. And for boys that always stayed the night the leftovers were critical too. Here are a few tips for the perfect teen Super Bowl Fiesta!~
1. The boys (and the girls) like something meaty, like Tyson Anytizers nuggets and wings, ribs, and sliders. Sauces for dipping and dribbling are part of the game. Make sure to have plenty of napkins because there WILL be dribbling.
2. Surprisingly they also like some veggies and fruits, but when you bring out the sweets all bets are off. Of course I prefer extra sweets because it’s just not leftovers without a few brownies or cookies. Hopefully you’ve taste-tested them ahead of time.
3. Sodas and shakes round out a hungry guy feast. If you live in a cold climate, keep the canned drinks outside in a cooler – saves on ice and space.
A room full of team themed decorations, noise makers, and foam fingers (a must) and you are set!
