When we went to Savannah for the graduation of the century we stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites Midtown.
The facility itself is gorgeous and well appointed. A decent continental breakfast includes hot foods.
We got a suite and I’m a huge fan of any room where I can do cartwheels.
Not that I do
But if I wanted to, it’s nice to know I can.
The first night I slept in the bed, but the pillows were all kinds of hard. If you like a soft pillow, you might want to bring your own. The second night Derek stayed with us because his dad (in a different room) was snoring like it’s his job and Derek didn’t sleep. So I slept on that teenie tiny chaise. Honestly it was a fabulous night sleep.
Seriously.
We made ourselves at home in the little kitchenette – WE CLUTTERED THE COUNTER JUST LIKE WE DO AT HOME!
and enjoyed the luxurious bathroom.
I’ll stay here again if I go to Savannah because it’s convenient to the college, downtown and the highway. I’ll be practicing my cartwheels until then.
