Kikkoman’s Panko Crusted Green Bean Casserole FTW!

November 20, 2010 by Linda Leave a Comment

If you are even remotely a fan of green bean casserole, then this is a dish you need to try. A take on the traditional green bean casserole, the Kikkoman Panko bread crumbs give it a "gourmet flavor" that is to die for!  I'm working with Kikkoman again this year for my Thanksgiving Feast and couldn't be more excited! Ingredients: (Makes 8 servings - or 2 if you eat it as your main dish ...

Dinner and a Show: Ragu Pizza Cups and Promises Promises

October 27, 2010 by Linda Leave a Comment

Dinner is served and the show is beginning! When I was in New York for Unilever's Family Dish event, we got to see the hit musical Promises Promises starring Sean Hayes and Kristin Chenoweth (LOVE). Based on on the Oscar®-winning Billy Wilder film, The Apartment with songs by Burt Bacharach, it's a fantastic play that, um,  you may not be old enough to remember songs, but I... ...well, I am ...

Homemade Granola Bites

September 3, 2010 by Linda 3 Comments

I had never made granola before so this was a double experiment.  I love the granola bites and had to see how easy or hard they were to make.  They proved to be a challenge, probably because I had never made any granola ever at all NADA... One of our favorite recipes includes backfin crabmeat and avocados.  The two flavors are a perfect combination.  And kids love them too!  Try out ...

July 27, 2010 by Linda 6 Comments

I am not a fancy cook.  Not that I can't, I just don't.  I'm a KISSer when it comes to cooking. Keep It Super Simple. It's how I roll.  Sometimes tho I like to break out the fancy feast and this is how I differentiate the fancy from the regular eats. You know your food is fancy when.... It does not come with fries and a supersize beverage Preparing it requires a trip to the fridge AND ...

Heather Tots and Chef Scott

July 13, 2010 by Linda 1 Comment

I love knowing smart people. I also love skype. It's the only place I know where you can put a list of ingredients into a room and someone smart comes up with dinner plans for you. Hence Heather Tots. Granted it's just roasted potatoes and I didn't follow some of the MUST DO RULES (because I am a rebel like that). Heather forgave me....this time Look at her recipe, for the real ...
