24 weeks!

Time is flying by! I can’t believe I’m already at 24 weeks, and before I know it I’ll be at 40! once school starts next week my mind will be so preoccupied,  won’t realize where the time has gone!

How many weeks? 24 weeks
How big is that baby? He’s as long as an ear of corn! crazy!
Gender: Baby boy
Total weight gain/loss? Not really gaining. Still only 10 pounds.
Wearing any maternity clothes? Still wearing some regular pants with the belly band and t-shirts or drapey pre-preggo shirts.
Zzzzz: Finally able to stay asleep until about 4:30, and then the bladder is about to burst!
Best moment this week: The yard sale last sunday…bought tons of baby boy clothes for very little money!
Movement: Not sure he stops moving!
Food cravings: I had one weird craving…Bubble Gum ice cream. I got a tub. I ate a little. I don’t want anymore. Other than that, not much, really. Anything I can keep down, which puts me on a chicken noodle soup only diet!
Any aversions? It depends on the day. But Bubble gum ice cream is on there somewhere.
Have you started to show yet: its not much, but its a bump!
How do you feel? I caught a terrible virus- therefore I feel like poop. Finally started new nausea medicine so I’ll see how it goes. But I hope the congestion and cough go away! (Any suggestions!??)
Looking forward to: sharing the yard sale finds with you all and seeing the little monkey in his new clothes, and picking out his coming home outfit.

Bubble gum ice cream sounds yummy- but I’m sure you don’t want to think about it anymore. :) You look so cute- over halfway there!

I had to laugh about the bubble gum ice cream. When my sister was pregnant with her first, she had this sudden craving for radishes! She bought some, took a bit of one and tossed the rest. If you haven’t read “The Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy” by Vicki Iovine, you should check it out. I find myself bursting out laughing frequently, and sometimes end up in tears due to laughing so hard.
