Be careful. These chocolate cheesecake fat bombs might just rival potato chips in the “nobody can eat just one” category. This so far has been my favorite recipe to taste test. Fat bombs are a great way to curb cravings and hunger on the ketogenic diet. These allow you to say “I have to eat my cheesecake NOW” – who can argue?
Ingredients for Chocolate Cheesecake Fat Bombs
Keto friends, these goodies are made with ingredients that I’ll bet you already have in your pantry / fridge. They are some of the keto staples that you’ll want to keep on hand for chocolate cheesecake emergencies.
This is a real thing by the way.
Making Fat Bombs
Mix all ingredients together. We’ve mixed this batch by hand, but I’d recommend using a mixer. Either a hand mixer or stand mixer will do. You’ll want the cream cheese well mixed so you don’t end up biting into a cream cheese pocket. Unless you do…then you do you.
We use a cookie scoop to scoop into balls and lay them on parchment paper. Our scoop is on the larger size, so our balls are on the larger size as well. If you don’t have a scoop, you could spoon them onto the platter.
Why eat fat bombs?
Fat bombs contain healthy fats and help you get the fat you need on the keto diet. Fat bombs help curve cravings and keep you full. And there are all kinds of flavors – both sweet and, my favorite, savory fat bombs. Yes, you can eat too many! You want to keep within your macros. And the macros will vary based on the size of your balls.
You’ll then need to freeze them before storing in a bag in the freezer. That is if you don’t eat them all first.
That’s a thing too.
These chocolate cheesecake fat bombs taste amazing and are very filling. I joke that you’d eat them all at once, but, honestly, one is plenty for me. I love enjoying one with my favorite bullet proof coffee in the morning.
