July means it’s my birthday month, and while I’m not one for big celebrations, I do like to do a little something for me. Enter my newest obsession — loose-leaf tea. I love trying all the different teas trying to find my favorites. So I accepted an offer from one of my go-to online stores, UncommonGoods, to create the perfect birthday gift bundle.
UncommonGoods is a privately-owned retailer that features unique jewelry, designer décor, tabletop items, and handcrafted gifts with a focus on animal and environmentally friendly products. Many of the top items they carry are made in the USA. It’s their mission to support designers, artists and entrepreneurs, and you’ll get that vibe in the Meet the Maker cards that come with your purchases. I can get on board with that.
I pulled together a few tea treats and wanted to share them with you — these are great gifts for guys and girls both!
Green Tea Herbal Tea Kit – $40
This is an fabulous sampler pack for people who want to try different teas before they commit to purchase more. I’ve tried a couple different ones in this pack, and each one I try becomes a new favorite (blue mallow is wonderful and so relaxing!). The pretty box and tiny tins will be great to reuse for jewelry or beads. I’m just as excited about the container as I am the teas!
If cocktails are your thing, you can shop for bar and wine accessories. But since I was on a tea binge, this went into my cart immediately.
Trio of Cocktail Inspired Teas – $25
Yes, I said cocktails and tea. This is one I’ll be ordering again. The variety of flavors the maker has pulled together to create these blends are perfect, and the smell alone will wow you. Yes you can drink a mojito at work!
I added a few tumblers to take my tea on the go.
Insulating Tea Infusing Bottle (left) – $29.99
Tea to Go – $28
All this together will create a nice gift basket for around $150. And you’re getting quality products that the recipient will love. Especially if the recipient is you. Or me.
Check out the UncommonGoods site and let me know what tea goodie I should try next!
