Nighttime has always been fun at Disney and it’s about to get funner and wilder. Extended hours at Animal Kingdom beginning this month will provide a completely different experience and showcase the wildlife and the land in Disney magic style.

While attending the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration, we were treated to some sneak peaks that I’m going to sneak to you! One highlight will be the rivers of light, an amazing light spectacular experience on the river that runs through the park. The exhibit is so diverse and dynamic that you’ll get a different experience at different areas of the park – no two viewings will be exactly the same. We were treated to a slide presentation – so these images are renderings from that – but you’ll get the idea!

The costumes were amazing and definitely embraced the culture and feel of the show. They were so elaborate and rich that I could only imagine how immersed you’ll become seeing them live as part of the show. The highlight of our night was seeing the Tree of Light show which will begin after Memorial Day. It’s beautiful and expect to hear a lot of “ahhhhhs” as the imagery changes from movie to movie – all ON the tree!

If you visit Walt Disney World, be sure to add this experience to your itinerary! It’s perfect for all ages! Find out more by reading the Disney Parks Blog or find out more on the Disney site!
