Here’s to a New Year! May this not be a “clean slate” but rather a chance to wake up and smell the roses. Last year may have stunk, but this year is going to be great (hopefully).
I don’t know about you, but I’m sick of feeling like I did last year; exhausted, stressed, unworthy, and a whole bunch of depressing adjectives. I’m ready to get out of that slump, what do you say? Will you do it with me?
Welcome to a new series of posts I’ll be doing to help you feel refreshed this year. It’s time to get your sparkle back!
I’m not only going to throw in some health posts (shocker), but also some designated days to getting your house organized and refreshed, as well as your mind. There won’t be any magic potions or pills involved, but sometimes it’s the little things that can make a world of a difference in how you feel.
By all means, don’t feel the need to follow everything in the series to a T. My life is not the same as yours, so feel free to tailor this to your lifestyle!
First off, go outside. Walk. Run. Jump rope. Dance in your fancy shoes. I don’t care, but get out there and get moving!!
Today during B’s nap, I had my brother watch him so I could go for a run. I barely made it 5 minutes outside because it was so cold, but I was proud of myself for getting up and getting out there and doing something. Shortly after I went to Target and got some cold weather gear so it didn’t happen again. See? Progress.
