I don’t know about your neck of the woods, but it’s been hot here lately. We’re planning to move this summer which means working in the garage, unloading junk and figuring out what will stay and go.
So Maggie and I are working on it. We all have trouble letting go of our own stuff, but have no trouble deciding what things and stuffs the other one should toss. So it’s been a challenge. We are purging for the third time in 2 years. I’m just tired of moving stuff. Stuff. Stuff. Stuff.
I was rifling through the cabinets to decide what would be packed and what could seriously go, thinking if we haven’t used it in the year we’ve been here, it’s time to say goodbye. I found some foofoo items that I swear we don’t need. I think we’ve moved them twice and two times is enough. But Maggie was determined to keep those Ball jars and novelty straws. And I have to say, when it’s important to her, she knows how to get her way.
How can I say no when I come inside from sweating bullets in the garage to find Creamsicle Floats made with Breyers Vanilla ice cream?
She’s sneaky. I like that. She can keep the Jars and Straws. She better stay away from my beanie babies though.
This is what we call a DELICIOUS MOMENT.
