Where has the time gone? I mean, is it really almost time for Thanksgiving? Is it really the middle of November? It seems like just yesterday the weather was about to warm up and I found out I was pregnant.

Not to mention- Lil’ B is considered full term and if he wanted to and my uterus will let him, he could come any day now. It’s totally up to them. So, Lil’ B, I remind you, there is plenty of space out here and lots of fun toys and people who want to play with you.

The past two weeks have been so crazy and gone by so fast that I don’t even know where to begin! A lot has happened to little guy as he drops lower and lower and hurts more and more including one visit to Labor and Delivery in the middle of the night for preeclampsia testing, and one emergency visit to the doctors office due to migraines and loss of vision (yay…). Let’s just say I’m exhausted and I can’t wait to have my body back…

(I’m fine btw, no worries.  Just pregnant!)

How many weeks? 37
How big is that baby? A WATERMELON. That’s a little frightening.
Gender: Baby boy
Weight Gain: Officially 30 lbs. Yay for baby shower cakes and lots of food that I don’t puke up!
Wearing any maternity clothes? Keeping it 50/50.
Zzzzz: Some good nights here and there!
Best moment this week: My doctor’s appointment, where I found out my cervix is softening and on its way into position. And she could feel his head!
Movement: He’s getting rather strong and gets hiccups at least once a day!
Food cravings: Sugar.
Any aversions? nothing new.
Have you started to show yet: Oh yes!
How do you feel? Crazy tired. Heartburn is no fun, and neither are the migraines. I’m starting to feel some pelvic pressure, and when I go on walks I start to get very crampy, like I’m on my period.
Labor signs? Some contractions here and there, and baby and cervix are getting into position!
Looking forward to: My next appointment so I can find out how everything is progressing!

I’m so glad you mentioned the hiccups. I am a few weeks behind you and could not figure out what I was feeling the other night. It was too consistent to be kicking, but I had no idea what else it could be. A while later I remembered you mentioning the baby hiccuping. I searched online, and sure enough, based on the descriptions I read, that’s what it was. Phew! Freaked me out for a while!

You are Almost.There. This part seems like the longest, I swear. The last couple of weeks just draaaagggg. But, every day baby B is in there is one more step toward being mature, having strong lungs and being ready to face the world. Yes, he could come now, but waiting would be better. :-) I told myself that again. And again. And again. (repeat x 3 trillion)

You’re terribly cute. I know you don’t feel it, but you’re adorable.

Can’t wait to see pictures of that baby!
