I was given the opportunity to test out the Snapshot by Progressive – the insurance company who’s number one gal is FLO!  I’ve been with my insurance company for a LOT of years and felt like I paid a good price but wanted to see if I could get some savings. After all with the baby coming any penny counts.

The Snapshot was easy to install (once I got my son over to lay on the floor of my car) and after 25 days, I’m sorry to say there are no savings, but it is cool to watch the progression on the site hoping for a positive update.

I don’t drive much these days.  Back in the day I would put about 18k on a car in a year.   Now I’m barely putting 5k on.   Most of my driving is back and forth to work or back and forth to the kids’ place and it’s a mix of stop and go and highway.   It’s pretty basic and very repetitious.  I don’t do much out of the ordinary these days.

Contact Progressive and give it a try!  I’ll be back at the end of my 30 days to give you the final recap!

We have inexpensive insurance, nothing to do with the military because neither of us was even in the military, but we’re old, super safe drivers and have been married for 16 years–all things in our favor.

I’m using this too & so far no savings here, either. My fiancee keeps joking {okay, half-joking} that we should have put it in HIS car since he’s the better driver!

We’ve got super insurance for military but this is great way to save if that is not an option!

I did this program but I didn’t save anything because we have former military ins that is super cheap.
