Ok, only 10 more weeks of this kicking and twirling to the point of nausea. I can’t wait. On the other hand, little guy, take your sweet time. I may be ready to meet you, but I’m no where near ready for you to come home. I’m starting to get overwhelmed, and I may or may not have gone to Target and Walmart to splurge on you a little. (My bad.) Here’s what I have left to do before the big day:
- Pre-register at the hospital(s) – one close to school and one close to home…just in case!
- Paint the room
- Get crafty and make the bedding…and all my Pinterest inspired crafts
- Hang the drapes
- Get a rocker
Get hangers and hang your clothes(woohoo Wally-world! $1.47 for ten!!)- Sign up for birthing/parenting classes
I’m sure there’s more. But at least I have toured and picked out where I need to go once those *real* contractions hit. (I think I had my first Braxton Hicks the other day…oh. my. gosh.) Let me just say- the nursery was my favorite part. Mom will vouch for me: those little babies were to dye for. Seeing them made me 100 times more excited than I already am…as if that were possible.
Anyways, It has been a hectic couple of weeks, and I’m sure you all are just dying to know what’s going on, so here it goes:
Zzzzz: I can make it through the night without going to the bathroom! Sometimes!
Best moment this week: Lets see. I’ll go with best moments of the past few weeks: Feeling little guy’s foot, going to the hospitals and seeing all of the babies, commencing the organization of LG’s room,
Movement: He’s a hyper little guy!! Sometimes if I push on my belly, he pushes back and I can feel his feet! Coolest/weirdest feeling ever! It gets a little distracting during lectures…
How do you feel? Morning sickness is still sticking around, making its appearance at least once a day. And they said the second trimester was easy…

Aw, you look great mama! Pretty soon you’ll have that precious baby in your arms.
I have had an aversion to meat for both of my pregnancies – so weird! Bummer that the morning sickness is hanging on!
You look great. Funny how he pushes back when you push on your tummy. Guess he wants to communicate right back to your touch the only way he can right now. Cool.
