I’m putting a little basket together for the Mother to Be Maggie – some things she might need in the next few months. Of course the fact that she now writes on this blog makes it a little less than a surprise.
You know she’s sick. Sick all the time. That was me with my morning sicknesses – they all lasted all day. Nothing really helped, but then times have changed…
Hoping these teas will help… and they are yummy…
Decaf Aged Earl Grey: This classic tea has a rich, smooth robust flavor with refined citrus tones and can now be enjoyed in the evenings. Real Italian bergamot is aged with Numi’s organic decaffeinated black tea so the tea naturally absorbs the orange scent.
Decaf Simply Green: Numi’s organic decaffeinated green tea is gently steamed and then curled to retain the tea’s natural flavor. It has a rich, smooth taste with a slightly sweet, smooth and grassy finish.
Let’s just call these teas “mommytobejuice”. No caffeine, and the teas may settle the tummy. If that doesn’t work and she ends up, well, losing her dinner at work, she’ll need my next little item.
Keep it fresh with this adorable designer toothbrush. I think every pregnant mother in her first “I can’t keep anything down” trimester could use this. The toothbrush by Cenoire, the Eluo, comes in a variety of stylish colors so you can freshen up in style. She’s all about style. And 1 AAA battery is all she needs for a real clean feel (and you can get it on Amazon)
Honestly I think she just needs sleep. I remember those days very well (why is that something that sticks with you?) and hope the sickness is just a first trimester thing for her. I don’t want to tell her, but if it’s not, it’s going to be a long 9 months.
Wait, since she writes for this blog now, I guess I just did. Sorry Mags!
