We always got a gift basket or 5 from Hickory Farm growing up.  Every year.  My dad was an insurance broker and there were always “gifts” showing up for the holidays.  Cheese, peanuts, flowers… it’s part of the “business” I guess.  I didn’t complain. one. bit.

We’d try to save it for the holiday but inevitably one of us would eat it. (OK IT WAS ME I WAS AN ONLY CHILD -GAH!)

I had the pleasure of  reviewing a gift basket from Hickory Farm courtesy of Mom Central Consulting.

Now the photo above is sadly missing one of the summer sausages – (OK AGAIN IT WAS ME – I’M STILL AN ONLY CHILD) – I really wanted to wait until Christmas and serve when friends were over, but I don’t think that’s happening.  The food is just too good.  And I think that’s one of the things I love most about Hickory Farms.  I know I’m getting good quality food which is important when sending edibles to friends…

…or business associates like my dad did.

So what’s your idea of gift giving traditions?  I hope you’ll consider making Hickory Farms a part of it.

Because Infographics are all the rage here is one for your enjoyment.  Hickory Farms is offering a $3, 3-day shipping feature.  Your order will be hand-packed and delivered within three days for just $3…. SMART….

Cool huh?

It’s been 60 years now (almost as old as me!) that Hickory Farms has been providing beautiful and delicious gift baskets as a option for holiday shoppers.  And even more fabulous – again this holiday season, Hickory Farms will donate $5 from each Party Planner gift box sold to Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry Campaign, a national nonprofit that is working to end childhood hunger in America.  And in support of our troops, Hickory Farms provides free shipping on select products to APO/FPO military addresses across the world.  How nice to give your friends and family a little something to remind them of family traditions…

“I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Hickory Farms and received a product sample to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.”
