Tomorrow I take my baby to college.

Yes I do look old enough to have a child that age but thanks for making me feel better.

She’s the class of 2015 if all goes according to plan and she should graduate before her older brother.

That’s another story completely.

I’m the class of 2008.

That’s the blog class of 2008.

I actually may have done a blog post in 2007 but I deleted a bunch of the originals.

I’m not one for anniversaries.

And my first posts were pretty lame.

It’s hard to believe that some day there will be a class of 2015 BLOGGERS.

I wonder what they will write about?

Mommy blogs will possibly be a thing of the past taken over by hyper local or extreme couponers or niche blogs.

There may be an explosion of boomer blogs as we all learn to turn on the computer.

And log into Facebook.

And the Twitter.

Cue Betty White.

While I loved Rue McClanahan, Betty was my favorite.

I watched those ladies every Saturday night.

Now I watch Fox News waiting for the market to collapse.

Golden Girls meet Gold Investments.

What do you think?

You think I’ve gotten completely off the topic of my daughter going to school.

My boys start back on Monday.
They still live at home. Sometimes that’s hard too.
I expect them to be in dorms this time next year. Any tips for coping?

Good luck to your daughter… and you don’t look old enough to have a child in college! (My oldest starts grad school on Monday. I need some distractions too.)

Oh, what a big moment! Distraction is a good thing.

I’m all about distracting myself from the things I don’t want to face. Epic winning, indeed!

(I’ll be thinking about you tomorrow! I hope it goes well! xoxo)
