Blogging has been a business for me for several years.  I started my blog in 2008 as an offshoot of an online shop selling monogrammed products.  I loved the blog so much that I sold the shop and dedicated my time to my new baby.  My blog.

I’m not just an online business – I’m a local Richmond business.  And meeting other area bloggers who are business minded too has been great.  It’s one way we bring the online offline and I’ve made some awesome friends.  Like any small storefront business I work crazy long hours and enjoy every minute.

If I could add on to this business and start a new project – well many of you may figure it out…I’d open a photography business.  It’s my new love and blogging has lead me to it.

My dad was a professional photographer so I guess it’s in my blood.

I just didn’t explore the awesome of photography until I started blogging.  And now I want to capture all I can of the local area!

So that’s the next phase of life I imagine – learn all I can and see if anything can come of it.  I’m a firm believer that you can do anything you set your mind to.  It’s time to take action and make it happen!

How about you?
