Y’all with your little camera hogging teenytiny kids can’t understand … YET.

I have 3 older kids – honestly I don’t even know what to call them anymore.  1 teenager and 2 adult kids.  That whole mom of 3 wha? gets me.  Not sure how to phrase it.  I’m still the mom tho… They haven’t gotten rid of me yet.

We took tons of family photos this past weekend at Caroline’s graduation.  TONS.  You know me and a camera.  *a LEETLE bit obsessed*  And I wanted to share them with you my beloved readers and friends.

Anywhooo….

The youngest, Maggie, loves to be on the blog.  She asks to be in posts.  Sets up the photo sessions for me.  Caroline is a good sport and doesn’t mind too much.   I don’t see her much since she lives so far away, and she’s creative so she gets it.

Then there’s Derek.  I’m not allowed to put him anywhere NEAR the blog.

20 year old very private guy who thinks what I do is really cool and totally relates b/c he’s an internet genius but wants no part of the publicity.

The free video games and food – BRING IT.  Let your mother use your face to show that she has kids who love her and appreciate the hard work she does for you – HECK NO.

So we came to a compromise.

I can post a photo of him.

If I cover his face.

Meet Derek

Here are all 3 of my kids.  Derek in the “red”, Caroline the graduate and Maggie on the right.  Good lookin’ family huh?

I got in the photo too.  *proud mama*

It was such an amazing event and I loved spending time with them all together.  It’s something we don’t really get to do often since they are starting to go in different directions.  You really cherish the times you have.

And we always add a little humor into the mix.

That’s Derek photobombing.  It looks much better with his real face.  Which I can’t show you on the blog BUT YOU CAN SEE IF YOU GO TO FLICKR JUST DON’T TELL HIM I TOLD YOU.

He’s handsome (CLICK HERE) and shy and doesn’t read my blog so I figure I’m safe.

Y’all just keep your mouths shut.  Fanks.

Too funny and cute! I can only imagine how my boys will be when they are older, luckily they are only 3 and 4 now!

Linda, I love you a little more now. Didn’t know I could, until I saw you torture your children, too. Awesome.

not that I’m a square, but he looks more like my family than the girls. I mean when he takes the “mask” off…
