Oh hai, you are here from Busymom’s right?  If you are here to find out the answer to the question to win free Invisalign treatment for your teen or for you, then you are at the right place.

I’m very excited to be working as an Invisalign Mom on their Mom Advisory Board.  My youngest daughter is going through treatment right now – about half way through, and I’m amazed at how beautiful her smile is becoming!  My oldest is now in treatment (not compensated as part of the MAB) and so we’ve become an “Invisalign Family”!!

We changed insurances in between the the two girls signing up for and starting treatment.  With the first one our insurance did not cover the Invisalign. But then it didn’t cover any orthodontia. With my oldest, we only paid about 20% out of pocket.  Insurance picked up the rest.  From the Invisalign website….

Many dental insurance plans cover Invisalign just as they would other orthodontic treatments like braces. Either your Invisalign Provider or your insurance carrier can help you to determine the exact coverage for your treatment. About a quarter of Invisalign patients receive insurance compensation for their treatment. On average, insurance pays over $500 of treatment costs.

Check with your insurance provider to see if treatments are covered or not.  For us, in both cases, the Invisalign treatment was around the same price as traditional metal braces.  Check with your Orthodontist!

Now the next part of this blog hop sends you over to Parenting by Dummies (www.parentingbydummies.com).  You’ll need to find the answer to the question…

How do I know if I or my teen is a candidate for Invisalign?

I find invisalign a very effective treatment and very much suitable and comfortable to most people’s lifestyle. Thus it is highly recommended by most dentists!
