I love working with photoshop, illustrator and picnik, and color is important to me.   I had heard fabulous things about the Epson Artisan series of printers and being able to give it a test run showed me why.

It’s always a challenge when you are printing to get the right colors both on the computer screen and print.  My line of printables have to look true to color or they are no good to anyone.  With the Epson Artisan 725 the colors are vibrant and there’s no grainy appearance.

You can print on a variety of papers in a variety of sizes and changing the options is easy on the touch screen menu panel.  Photos are crisp and clean and ready for framing!

You can quickly switch from plain paper to photo paper and back again on the easy to use (and understand!) touchpad.  There is even software included to print professional looking CD’s and DVD’s.

The built in wireless allows me to work in any room (which for me is key – I like my couch).  My previous printer was a bit testy and would only connect to print half of the time.  It’s not that I’m lazy and don’t want to have to get up…well yes it is.. :)  Set up was easy, and even though I had a little trouble which was related to my computer setup (had just gotten laptop back from Apple where they installed out of date software), Epson customer service walked me through the re-install in a matter of minutes.

I’ve tried so many different printer brands and had never tried the Epson.  I’m not sure why.  But I can promise you if I upgrade or buy one for my daughter leaving for college it will most likely be the Epson.

I just bought my first Epson — the workforce 325.

I can’t get the wireless to work (yet)

    BUT — ZOMG — I love it!
