One of our favorite comfort foods has to be pancakes.  And pancakes would be nothing without syrup.  Well they’d be something but they’d be dry…

We use Log Cabin syrup.  We always have.  I remember wanting the bottle in the shape of a lady when I was a kid and mom saying “NO we like Log Cabin.”

Moms are always right you know…

Turns out Moms are Queen when it comes to breakfast.  Log Cabin conducted a survey (I guess in between maple tree tapping and bottle filling) and found:

“Mom may not have a show on the Food Network, but she runs the show at her own house. Outranking both Rachel Ray and Paula Deen, Mom is the top pick for America’s favorite breakfast chef with 42 percent preferring that she make the first meal of the day at their houses!”

Out of those surveyed…

  • 56 percent make a conscious effort to choose breakfast options they feel good about for themselves and their familie
  • 49 percent are trying to remove high fructose corn syrup from their family’s diet. (Log Cabin does NOT contain HFCS)
  • 88% percent of Americans talk to each other over breakfast – outnumbering those who watch TV.

Feeling better about breakfast?  Moms rule the world (not kidding) and moms rule the breakfast table…

And now I want pancakes!

Product received to facilitate this post.  However we really do only use Log Cabin. Mom said so…

Now I want pancakes too, but they’ll have to wait for breakfast because hubby is bringing home take out tonight.
