I prefer brownies made from scratch. I find brownie mixes to be too sweet and I like more of a cake texture…am I weird? Don’t get me wrong, gooey has it’s place and time.
The kids don’t agree with me tho… they like them chewey melt in your mouth gooey. So if I’m in a good mood (which of course I always am, having 3 teens!) I let them add a few things to the brownies. One of our favorites is Skippy Peanut Butter.
It’s as simple as swirling knifeful after knifeful into the batter after it’s been spread out into the pan.
Bake per the regular instructions and you have easy Peanut Butter and Chocolate Brownies!
Could it be any easier?
