We have so many but my favorite is the hiding of Easter baskets! It is so much fun on Easter morning to watch the kids run around the house trying to find their baskets and end up finding them in as crazy of a place as the fridge!! ;) And Easter dinner is always a lovely part that we all get to celebrate and be together!!

Our Easter plans are simple. I hide the eggs and gift the night before easter morning and then when my son gets up he goes hunting. We then go to my parents in the late afternoon for supper

Every year my family has a tradition for Easter to go to a local hotel/restaurant and enjoy the huge Easter brunch they put on….pancakes, waffles, prime rib, desserts etc! We eat so much that we’re full for the day, go home and relax and let the kids play. We just enjoy quality family time with each other and it’s great! This basket looks AMAZING, thanks for the chance!

We always give our daughters an easter basket and while they are opening them the Easter Bunny comes along and hides eggs in our yard. Then the kids get to find the eggs while us adults sit back and relax. Afterwards we have a big Ham dinner with all of our family.

We get up before the sun and go to a sun rise church service on a gorgeous hill top. We will then head to our regular church for Easter services. Then we are welcomed home by the wonderful aroma of the Brown Sugar Mustard Glazed Ham that I slow cooked for hours. We have just a nice family supper and relax the rest of the day.

I always have an easter egg hunt for the kids, with “clues” typed on slips of paper that, once they have collect all of the eggs, they can arrange to read. This will lead them to where their “big ticket” item is hidden–usually a DVD or CD. (I have the gifts wrapped with names on them, so each child gets the correct gift). Then, our families will get together for a mid-afternoon meal: our family, my brother’s, my parents, and my in-laws…and we rotate hosting every year. Everyone brings a dish to pass; the main dish is supplied at the house hosting the meal (this year it’s my bro’s— yeah, b/c my SIL was a chef as a profession at one time before she had kids and decided to change professions)… and it’s simple b/c they literally live across the street from me. (My parents live behind me) and my IL’s live about 45 min’s away. It’s kinda TOO close knit at times! LOL

Well, we go up to the brother in-laws and he organizes an outdoor Easter Egg Hunt, as he has a huge property.
Then we have a nice ham dinner with lots of desserts from the bakery in town.

When the kids were smaller we hid easter eggs and made up really fun baskets for them. Now that they are teens I generally just buy them a bit of chocolate and an itunes gift card. Would love to win this basket for a sweet little girl I know.

What a cool basket!!! Oh, yeah, and my daughter would like it, too.

( I AM drooling and there aren’t even cupcakes involved.)

Our Easter morning involves following the footsteps, oops, pawprints that the Easter bunny left leading from my daughter’s bed to…….hopefully the Disney themed basket! (I’m using positive thinking)…. an Easter Basket. Then we use the newly-emptied basket to search for plastic eggs that the craft- bunny-dude has hidden all over the house. Because the crafty-bunny-dude likes to be a little bit healthy, most of them have Annie’s bunny crackers. One year he put circus peanut type candy, ewwww, not a good choice by the bunny-dude. Then we hide-and-repeat, hide-and-repeat, hide-and-repeat until we’re exhausted!

Thanks for a great giveaway – and Happy Easter!

This will be the first year that my Little Miss Diva in Training will really understand Easter. We have been attending a new church, so we will be spending the morning at church. Followed by a family get together lunch, which usually consists of BBQ and all the yummy sides! And the kiddo’s will have a MASSIVE easter egg hunt in the back yard! I am so excited to make an Easter Basket for Miss Diva and take her shopping for a special dress!
