I know!  I haven’t been doing many (any) giveaways, but this one I couldn’t refuse.

Because it’s Disney and a Princess.

My kids grew up when Ariel, Belle, Pocahontas, Mulan were first introduced to the “Silver Screen”.  So we had to take them 50 times to see it in the theaters.   Now the movies just bring back great memories, because for me it brings back the days when my kids were …wel…kids.  Seeing their faces when they first saw the movies and listening to the soundtracks over and over until they I knew all the words

It was all about them had nothing to do with me of course….

My favorite movie?  Beauty and the Beast.

My favorite scene?  The Gaston Song

Now it’s time for a new Princess to take the stage and take over our plasma tv’s.

The Princess and the Frog!  YAY!!

It’s out on DVD on March 16 and I have a copy for you.

Yes! I’m giving it away! One copy on DVD. And what I want to hear from you is your favorite Disney Princess scene in any of the Disney Princess movies….or even better, your child’s favorite Disney Princess scene…after all it’s all about the children.

I’ll randomly pick a winner.   No extra entries, just looking back at all the classics.  And I can’t wait to reminesce the movies with you.

Contest ends March 26 at 8pm et and is open to US residents 18+

Technically, the princess was not in the scene, but I like the “Pink dress, blue dress” fight scene between Flora and Merryweather in Sleeping Beauty.

My daughter was never a big Disney fan – but I love the movies enough for both of us. My favorite scene was when Ariel went to see Ursula. She didn’t yell and scream at her father first; she just KNEW what she wanted and went after it. I thought that was so amazing.

I disagree with your assertion that Disney movies are for children. They might be the main demographic, but I think adult must like them as well since kids can’t exactly drive to the movies or buy a dvd on their own. Frankly, if I don’t like something, my kids are going to see it either… tough rocks, but they can do whatever they want when their 18. Anyway, my favorite Disney Princess scene is when Sleeping Beauty is finally woken up. Its just such a happy ending.

Both my daughter’s and I favorite Disney movie is Beauty and the Beast. We love (and she makes me rewind it a million times over) is when they are out in the snow and the Beast is trying to feed the birds but they are scared of him, so he crouches down and does a duck waddle to the birds. It is so funny. We laugh and mimic it every time. Beauty and the Beast is the most awesome animated movie ever!
