This post is dedicated to my friends that love dip…and even to those who do not (you know who you are). I have a great group of lady friends on the interweb and we chat about all kinds of stuff.
and believe it or not, DIP
We get the conversations going and the next thing you know we are running to the kitchen hoping we have a container of sour cream and some onion soup mix.
Chips are optional. Spoons and fingers are fine if necessary.
When I was contacted to test out Deans dips, I was pretty darn thrilled *insert herkie jump*. I took my 3 coupons to the store…I wanted 3 containers of the onion…but I’m not sure that was the point of the review. So I got one Onion and then Honey Mustard and Guacamole.
Review: The onion dip only lasted 20 minutes. Here’s why. It’s thicker than what you might make on your own. Therefore when they (and by they I mean I) dip the chip in, they either have to scrape lightly or dig for gold. Scoop down and up quickly to avoid breaking the chip. And so they (and by they I mean I) went through the whole tub rather quickly.
The guacamole we loved because it wasn’t too spicy. (though they have a zesty version for you zesty people) We ate with fajitas (which my kids pronounce fa-gye-tas…whoops this is a family post) and it was fab.
We haven’t tried the honey mustard with pretzels like the container says, but it passes the spoon test three or four times. *or so they (and by they I mean I) tell me*
And there are other flavors too. You might want to get some for your holiday party- they are in the fridge section with the sour cream-…and remember to put out plenty of spoons.
