I just wanted to let you know about a cool Twitter campaign called “Deli Difference.” In celebration of National Sandwich Day, for every Twitter follower @SaraLeeDeli receives on Nov. 3 they donate $1 (up to $25,000) to Share Our Strength to help fight childhood hunger.

The objective is simple: they need Twitter followers to make a difference, and hope you can help. The more followers “Deli Difference” receives, the closer they will be to feeding 2,500 children during the month of November ($25,000 is all it takes). @SaraLeeDeli will be using #sldeli and #delidifference in the coming days to generate awareness.

Oh and what about the sandwich aspect of National Sandwich Day? – on our Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/saraleedeli, you will find the art of sandwich making and a historical look at the most popular lunch entree.
